Board Meetings

Board meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month. Notices of meetings are emailed, posted on bulletin boards, and on the website’s calendar.

A unit owner who desires to discuss a subject at a meeting must give written notice to the president and manager at least seven (7) days prior to regular Board meetings and thirty (30) days prior to the annual meeting of owners. It is at the discretion of the Board to include the item on the agenda.

A unit owner may speak for three (3) minutes, or as time permits, only on subjects on the agenda, when the floor is open for discussion on a particular item. A unit owner desiring to audio or video record a meeting must adhere to Florida Condominium Regulations, Code 61b-23.002(10), FL Admin. Code.

When can I have a truck delivery?

Only 2-axle truck deliveries for residents can be scheduled from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You must inform the manager’s office to be placed on the schedule, have the elevator pads installed, and alert the gatehouse. A $300 damage deposit is required.

Do I need a permit to do construction in my unit?

Permits are required by the State of Florida for all Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Structural, or Flooring work. Management must be informed before all maintenance and repairs. Before any work can be done to your unit, the office manager must be notified of the type of work and all applications must be submitted and approved prior to beginning the work. All vendors and/or contractors must be approved and provide license and proof of insurance to be filed at the Office. A copy of permits must be submitted to the Management Office and posted outside of your unit.

When can my contractor begin work at the Reef Club?

All approved contractors may enter the Reef Club beginning at 9:00 AM and must leave by 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. No heavy tools or materials on Saturdays — Saturday work is limited to activities that do not make loud noises (for example, painting and grouting).

Can a realtor show my unit?

Realtors must register with the Management Office. The realtor on file plus one more person from their office must be present at showings.

Can my realtor add a lockbox to my unit door?

No. The Reef Club does not allow lock boxes.
